DC Brush EPS System

When the driver make a turn, the electronic control unit sends instructions to the motor controller based on the torque voltage signal, steering direction signal and speed signal detected by the sensor, to make the motor provide power steering torque with appropriate magnitude and direction to facilitate the steering action.

System Benefits

·  Electric power steering (EPS) can improve fuel efficiency by roughly 3%, while facilitating vehicle operation and enhancing overall driving experience and comfort
·  Compact design with lower installation cost
·  System can be configured for various vehicle models and dedicated driving modes
·  It is one of the core technologies required to achieve driver assistance systems (such as crosswind compensation, lane change assist, lane-keeping and parking assist systems)
