Zonal Controller

Zonal Controller originates from the limitations of distributed architectures amid the trends of vehicle intelligence and electrification. In traditional architectures, numerous independent ECUs lead to complex wiring harnesses, high costs, and difficult maintenance. By integrating functions based on physical zones (such as front, rear, left, and right), Zonal Controllers enable signal acquisition, drive output, and communication coordination, significantly reducing the number of ECUs and wiring length while enhancing system efficiency and facilitating the realization of Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV). Its core functions include smart power distribution, I/O control, multi-protocol communication (CAN/LIN/Ethernet), and OTA (Over-The-Air) updates.
